Uluabat Hydroelectric Power Plant

Bursa Province, Turkey

Uluabat Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) and Cinarcik Dam Project is located on the lower basin of Orhaneli Creek, one of the major branches of Mustafa Kemalpasa River in northwestern Turkey. Uluabat HEPP has an installed capacity of 100 MW and generates 422.6 GWh of electricity. Electricity generated by the power plant is delivered to the grid by an 11.2 km long 154 kV double circuit overhead transmission line. This electricity is used by the city of Bursa, Turkey’s fourth most populous city.
